Job Description:
A local and well-established independent insurance agency is actively looking to hire a Commercial Lines Account Manager for our office in the Kansas City Metro. Candidates must be positive, enthusiastic and customer focused. You will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service and sales support.
Requirements:
- 5 years commercial account management experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial lines insurance products.
- Understanding of commercial insurance underwriting, coverage, and rate analysis.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and self-manage workload.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft suite of products.
- Sound, professional communication skills with both internal and external clients.
- Excellent documentation and follow-up skills.
- Active property and casualty license.
- Ability to work in a team environment, with a positive attitude, and willingness to help others.
- Effectively communicate with Producers regarding new and renewal business submissions.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to policy changes, billing questions, renewal reviews and other requests in a timely manner.
- Provide accurate and timely communication to customers through verbal and written communication.
- Prioritize and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of transactions.
- Maintain accurate client files properly documenting conversations with insured and carrier underwriters.
- Submit and negotiate the best terms and conditions on new and renewal business.
- Enjoy a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time position with the possibility of a hybrid work schedule after 90 days. The agency provides competitive compensation, health, dental and vision benefits, and company matched 401k after 1 year.
