Content Strategist

This is as contract to hire, hybrid role (onsite 4 days a week).

Must be open to 4 days a week in the office - the 4th day is a mixture of Mondays/Fridays in a 1 month period.

we are looking for a Snr. Content Strategist to lead ongoing content optimization efforts for a large client; you will track the creation of hundreds of pieces of original content to populate the new experience and serve as key content and client liaison.

Responsibilities:

• Set deadlines and track deliverables for 2 content authors using a ticketing system
• Track assets (creative and visual) necessary for launching hundreds of rich-content, high-profile webpages
• Initiate requests for custom artwork, drafting briefs for review and approval by client
• Work with content, tech, account, and creative teams to successfully deliver on key milestones
• Independently manage, execute, and report on your output on a daily basis
• Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders on progress, with both quantitative and qualitative feedback to support your output
• Manage your project effectively and following consistent operational processes
• Prioritize, evaluate, plan, execute and monitor all phases of your project
• Identify and implement strategies to improve processes where needed
• Produce relevant reporting to meet business needs
• Drive continuous improvements for systemic issues that hinder the efficient management of projects

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, journalism, or related field.
• 3-5 years’ experience in production coordination and or/ management, as well as effective client account management.
• Demonstrated success in process optimization and leading projects.
• Comfortable interfacing with clients and cool under pressure.
• Experience managing and leading a team.
• Strong experience working in collaboration with other team members and across departments.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• CMS experience, AEM a plus.
• Basic HTML and CSS file editing experience.
• Comfortable challenging the status quo and questioning existing practices.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and generate innovative solutions in an extremely fast-paced environment.
• Project Management experience in e-commerce, magazines, or digital media a plus.
