What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Communications Engineer position at ECCO Select?
We are looking for a Network Communications Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will assist in the development, installation, and maintenance of internal and external network communications. Utilizing your expertise in LAN/WAN systems, you will support network design, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure seamless connectivity and performance. With a focus on routing, switching, BGP, and link troubleshooting, you will work under general supervision, applying industry best practices to enhance network efficiency. Experience with Arista networking equipment is preferred but not required.
Position Title: Network Engineer
Location Information: Remote
W2 only - no C2C or sponsorship available
Must be willing to work on location in Austin, TX
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of network communications
- Design and install internal and external networks using LAN/WAN systems
- Test and evaluate network systems to identify and resolve issues and make improvements
Essential Skills & Expertise:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in network engineering or a related role
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and BGP experience troubleshooting network links
- Arista networking equipment is preferred but not required
