Position Overview :
Position Title : Senior Systems Administrator (Supervisor)
Location Information : Wichita, KS (3 days onsite& 2 days remote)
Duration : 3-month contract to hire
Compensation : $65 / hr
Job Description :
- This would be a player / coach role. From a technical POV – we are still looking for everything lined out below, but also looking for someone that has leadership / supervising experience.
- Day to day, you will be developing architecture with customers based on their requirements. VMWare best practice. Operations and manufacturing environments.
- Their team currently supports all of FHR’s infrastructure systems. Systems in AWS and on prem
- Thousands of servers (1,500 servers)- half AWS, half virtual.
- Support operations team – so someone who has worked for an operations company is a big plus and would be valuable to FHR.
- Application owner for Veeam for backups, understand the infra, improve it, full service suite.
- Support terminal services environment
- Manage Sans
- VMWare shop - Support AWS. Support SAN. Critical Applications. Backups, Monitoring, Remote access, password management.
