Technology Manager
The Technology Manager will provide real-time technical support for internal and external customers, focusing on troubleshooting technical issues and acting as a liaison between customers and resolving groups. Responsibilities include supporting business applications, network printer issues, data communication / networking, remote access, PC and network configuration, and laptop support. The role involves innovating, documenting, and ensuring compliance with procedures.
Responsibilities :
- Provide first-line technical and customer support.
- Maintain and troubleshoot AV presentation systems, PCs, laptops, network infrastructure, and interactive media systems.
- Monitor floor activity and provide customer service to clients, sales teams, and staff.
- Manage day-to-day operations including room setups, security, and customer concierge support.
- Assist with scheduling and managing meeting times, critical communications, and digital signage.
- Serve as the technical, security, and operations liaison on event days.
- Collaborate with the Briefing Manager and participate in team / project meetings.
- Administer local digital media systems and interactive video walls.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, with 2-3 years of experience in network and computing environments.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and public speaking skills.
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments, learn new technologies, and manage cross-functional projects.
- Leadership skills with attention to detail and operational understanding of briefing programs.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to handle administrative tasks, and a sense of urgency.
- Some travel may be required.
- PC / Mac systems administration, networking, Linux / Unix administration.
- AV equipment (Crestron, audio processors, visual displays).
