What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Shipping/Receiving Clerk position at ECDC?
ECDC, Inc., an office furniture distribution center, is looking for an experienced Shipping/Receiving clerk:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Create paperwork for shipping freight
· Print orders from computer system
· Coordinate with warehouse and office staff to ensure that orders are picked correctly and in a timely manner for either common carriers or customer pick up
· Assist customers when they are coming to pick up furniture orders in the warehouse
· Confident and able to answer calls regarding customer picks up and freight carrier inquiries
· Respond to customer emails in a professional and timely manner
· Knowledge of using / operating electric jacks for loading trucks
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
· Dispatch experience a plus
· Office Furniture experience a super plus!
Report directly to Shipping/Receiving manager
Position is in warehouse in Moonachie, NJ
Hours: 8:30am-5 pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
