Our Company: ECE Subhub is a company that provides early childhood teachers to public, private, charter and religious schools as well as Montessori's and standalone Early childhood educational centers. We only educate little people, so that is children birth through 5 years old. We provide staff for these institutions on a permanent basis (the entire school year) as well as a temporary basis (sick calls, vacation, until they hire a new staff member, medical leaves etc.) At ECE Subhub, it’s not just about the students having fun and growing; we want our incredible staff to love what they do!
Job Description: The assistant teacher will be an educationally qualified person to assist am infant and toddler classroom. Do you enjoy reading children's books, singing, and puppet shows? We are actively seeking a diligent, passionate professional who is looking to gain experience with children while working in a supportive and inspiring environment. We offer Medical, dental and vision coverage if you work 4 or more days a week for us.
$14-$22 an hour
You must have the following:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Human Services, Child Development, Family Education, Youth Studies, Elementary education or
- An associates degree in the above majors or 18 college credits in early childhood education or a valid CDA
- Experience working with children 0-5 years old
- 3 Professional References
Job Responsibilities:
- Engage the children in a fun environment that is full of song, dance and animated voices
- Create lesson plans around the children's interest following the curriculum provided
- Maintain a safe environment at all times and be able to work effectively with co-teacher/s
- Set and work toward goals for each individual child that you and the parent set
