Job Overview
The IT Manager will manage the information technology infrastructure, including its operations, strategy, and execution with the goal of providing superior end-user experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IT strategies that meet organization needs
- Oversee IT operations, including networks, development, and disaster recovery
- Lead internal help desk to provide suitable IT and facilities support, enabling smooth firm operations and facilitating growth
- Manage relationship with Managed Service Provider, holding them accountable to contractual service levels
- Manage and develop IT staff
- Identify, assess, mitigate security risks, and develop security policies
- Oversee technical projects, and ensure they are aligned with firm goals
- Create and communicate IT guidelines
- Develop and deliver firmwide IT training and onboarding
- Assess equipment and software and make recommendations as appropriate
- Prepare budgets and present proposals for projects and equipment
- Review and negotiate contracts with IT and facilities vendors
