Job Overview
As a Tax Manager with a focus on Private Client Services, you would be applying your technical knowledge and industry experience to support and manage all phases of a client engagement for our high-net-worth clients and closely held businesses including, but not limited to, assisting and developing staff, performing technical research, reviewing returns, and communicating with the client throughout the engagement process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage tax and consulting engagements for high-net-worth clients and closely held businesses, including review of individual, trust, estate, S-Corp, foundation, partnership, and gift tax returns and ensure compliance with professional standards
- Apply knowledge of individual, trust, and flowthrough compliance and planning issues to work collaboratively with clients and their advisors to develop and implement plans
- Develop and maintain client relationships and ensure the highest level of client service is achieved
- Provide overall leadership, supervision, training, and performance feedback to staff
- Effectively delegate work to staff according to their experience and capabilities
- Develop business by expanding existing relationship with clients, maintaining personal networks, and participating in civic, charitable, and professional organizations
