Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and conduct regular checks on CCTV systems.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring the safety of individuals on-site.
- Conduct thorough investigations into incidents of theft or loss prevention.
- Manage conflicts effectively while maintaining professionalism and composure.
- Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations for management review.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed to enhance security operations.
Qualifications
- Valid armed security license or certification as required by state regulations.
- Proven experience in security roles, particularly in armed positions.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- First aid and CPR certification is mandatory; additional training is a plus.
- Familiarity with law enforcement protocols is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to operate CCTV systems effectively for monitoring purposes.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
