Job Description
Position Summary: As a Medical Assistant, you will support our healthcare team in providing quality patient care and increasing medical office productivity. Your technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team will make you a valuable asset to our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and prepare them for physician examination per established office protocol
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts
- Document medication dispensed and report lab results to patients
- Provide oversight to vaccine programs following State guidelines
- Perform EKG and Spirometry as ordered by physicians
- Answer pharmacy requests for prescription refills per office protocol
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and report stock levels to Office Coordinator/Practice Manager
- Assist physicians with office surgical procedures
