Job Overview
ECHN is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing patient services by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using invasive cardiovascular technology under physician supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine to complex diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures at a level that does not require constant supervision of technical detail.
- Assist in the performance of a variety of procedures requiring independent judgment, good knowledge of anatomy, and high technical knowledge of equipment.
Requirements
- Must be a high school graduate.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) National Board certified.
- Vascular-Interventional (VI) Radiography Certification by the ARRT preferred.
- Maintain a valid State of Connecticut License to practice Radiographic technical procedures.
- On an on-going basis, must obtain the mandatory number of continued educational units (CEU#s) needed to maintain the currency of state licensure.
