Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our Interventional Radiology team. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing patient services using invasive cardiovascular technology to diagnose and treat organ and vascular diseases.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine radiographic procedures according to department standards, protocols, and guidelines required by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the State of Connecticut.
* Provide proper clinical patient care while performing diagnostic procedures.
* Critique and assess the overall quality of images taken, using a combination of skill, experience, and judgment to improve image quality.
* Maintain familiarity with the capabilities of radiographic equipment and sterile technique policies and practices.
* Actively participate in the maintenance of stock and inventory cycle counts, ensuring adequate stock levels and personal protection equipment in the Angio Suite.
Requirements
* High school graduate with a valid State of Connecticut License to practice Radiographic technical procedures.
* National Board certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with Vascular-Interventional (VI) Radiography Certification preferred.
* BLS Certified with the ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive professional demeanor.
