Responsibilities:
* Perform routine to complex diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures with minimal supervision.* Assist in the performance of various procedures requiring independent judgment, good knowledge of anatomy, and high technical knowledge of equipment.* Maintain a constant awareness of infection control standards, sterility, and patient care protocols.* Provide proper clinical patient care while performing diagnostic procedures.* Critique and assess the overall quality of images taken.* Use a combination of skill, experience, and judgment in improving image quality.* Participate in the maintenance of stock and inventory cycle counts.* Maintain professionalism in line with ECHN's Core Values during stressful situations.* Accurately document computer patient and diagnostic procedure information.* Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.* Keep abreast of advances in modality.* Guide non-RT personnel in safe radiation practices.* Achieve quality assurance measures and requirements.* Consistently send quality images to PACS.* Complete Universal Protocol checklists properly.* Assist in training newly hired staff.* Successfully complete continuing education, staff meetings, and training.
