About This Role:
We are seeking a Nursing Supervisor to join our team at ECHN. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical and administrative leadership, facilitating team relationships and promoting nursing practices within the organization.
- Ensure quality patient care through effective management of nursing staff and resources during assigned shifts.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, evaluate patient care needs, and make critical administrative decisions in the absence of the Administrator.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's Degree or currently enrolled in such a program.
- A current Registered Nurse license from the State of Connecticut is required.
- Certification is highly desirable.
- Clinical and managerial competency must be retained for area of assignment including Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
Additional Requirements:
- At least three (3) years of nursing experience in an acute care setting with demonstrated leadership potential.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English – both verbally and in writing.
- Basic computer skills in WORD, EXCEL, and OUTLOOK are necessary.
