We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our team at ECHN Hospital. In this role, you will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting evaluations, documenting patient progress, and adhering to professional codes of ethics established by the APTA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' symptoms, activity levels, and medical status
- Develop and modify treatment plans based on individual patient needs
- Document patient progress according to insurance guidelines and adhere to departmental policies
- Supervise affiliated students and participate in continuing education courses to improve treatment techniques
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- Current Connecticut license in Physical Therapy
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using Windows-based programs needed for department functions
