About the Role

The Crisis Worker at ECHN plays a critical role in ensuring the effective delivery of behavioral health services in the emergency department. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with diverse needs.

Your expertise will encompass crisis triage, patient assessment, treatment planning, and collaboration with community resources. You will also participate in individual and group supervision to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge. In addition, you will have opportunities to engage in professional development activities and contribute to the growth and development of our organization.

Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a Master's degree and licensure in a behavioral health field (LCSW, APRN, or PhD). Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with CPI de-escalation techniques and physical management training is also required. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate strong clinical skills, including crisis triage, assessment, and treatment planning.
