The Nursing Clinical Coordinator plays a vital role in managing and enhancing patient care in a community hospital setting. This position involves supervising nursing staff, facilitating team communication, and implementing evidence-based practices to ensure high-quality patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise nursing staff and facilitate team communication
- Implement evidence-based practices to ensure high-quality patient experiences
- Collaborate with health care professionals and coordinate ancillary staff
- Participate in Shared Governance Councils and serve on committees as requested
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient flow and reduce length of stay
Requirements:
- Masters degree preferred; BSN or actively matriculating for a BSN required
- Current RN licensure in State of Connecticut
- Three to five years of acute care experience required; Emergency Department experience highly preferred
- Charge nurse/leadership experience desired
