Job Description
Position Summary: As a Medical Assistant, you will support our healthcare team in providing quality patient care and increasing medical office productivity. Your expertise will be crucial in handling administrative and clinical duties with precision and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and prepare them for physician examination per established office protocol
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts
- Document medication dispensed and report lab results to patients
- Provide oversight to vaccine programs following State guidelines
- Perform EKG and Spirometry as ordered by physicians
- Answer pharmacy requests for prescription refills per office protocol
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and report stock levels to Office Coordinator/Practice Manager
- Assist physicians with office surgical procedures
