**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at ECHN. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and participate in clinical education for students.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Evaluate patients to determine the nature and severity of their communication or swallowing disorder.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing skills.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in clinical education and training programs for students.
**Requirements:**
- Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
- Holds current Connecticut license for Speech Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic personal computer skills in the use of Windows based programs such as Word, Outlook and Excel.
