Quiet Professionals, LLC is seeking a Security Specialist to implement the industrial security program and ensure security requirements are met for the Quiet Professionals facility and program office. Coordinate and monitor highly sensitive aspects of DoD or other industrial security programs and security activities while ensuring compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of onsite security management of the facility to include direct support to programs and staff for physical security, access control, alarm maintenance and response, subcontractor oversight, and document control/maintenance of classified equipment inventories.
  • Interface with all levels of QP personnel and government management personnel to ensure contract security compliance with 32 CFR, 117 National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD 5220.22-M, DD254s and Program Classification Guides.
  • Conduct security self-inspections, apply risk mitigation methodologies, support customer assessments, and implement security measures to meet requirements.
  • to Make critical security decisions concerning high value contracts and to implement security procedures that will prevent unauthorized access to company and government facilities or information.
  • Provide clear guidance to company employees and recommend modifications to operations policies or procedures as appropriate.
  • Administer day-to-day security programs, personnel processing, program reviews, document control system, audits, Self-inspections, violation investigations & reports, receipt/dispatch/destruction/mail logs, visit certs & etc.
  • Perform physical, personnel, COMSEC and administrative security responsibilities for multiple SCIFs, which often calls for requests to government security representatives regarding accreditations, personnel actions, AIS transmissions.
  • Ability to develop and establish an effective security awareness, training, and education program


Requirements:

  • 8 years of professional experience in the industry
  • Thorough working knowledge of the 32 CFR, 117 and other government regulations (e.g. DoDM 5105.21 M-1, Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) standards, Executive Orders and SEADs).
  • General understanding of Physical Security requirements for ICD 705
  • Experience with creating and issuing DD-254s
  • Ability to manage SCI programs
  • Thorough understanding of security databases such as NISS, DISS and, NBIS, EAPP
  • Experience creating and conducting initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as appropriate.
  • Strong communications skills, both oral and written
  • Candidates must possess an active Top Secret clearance
  • Experience developing and implementing OPSEC SOPs, and emergency action plans.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • FSO Certification (possessing facilities)
  • Experience submitting SCI Nomination packages
  • Experience Leading Teams
  • Courier preparation procedures
  • Knowledge of Access Control and Intrusion Detection Systems
  • Experience with SCIF construction and ICD 705
  • Experience conducting Security incident inquiries
  • Resourceful in solving problem and capitalizing on opportunities
  • COMSEC experience
  • Professional Certifications/Affiliations
  • Experience Reviewing RFPs, RFIs and SOWs and articulating security requirements to program leadership
