Overview
The Summer Internship Program at Echo.Church is designed to provide participants with an opportunity to learn about ministry, build essential work skills, and grow in integrity. Interns will have the chance to engage in church activities, participate in meaningful projects, and develop personally and professionally. This program is a blend of hands-on experience, educational classes, and fun team-building activities.
Program Details
- Duration: 9 - 10 weeks (includes onboarding week)
- Age Requirement: Open to individuals ages 15 to 23 who have a heart for ministry and a willingness to grow.
- Time Commitment: 10 to 15 hours per week
- Stipend: up to $2,000 upon successful completion of the program
Intern Responsibilities:
- Ministry Participation: Engage actively in church activities and events, supporting various ministries across all campuses (Guest Experience, SMART, Worship/Production, echoKIDS, Students, Operations, Marketing, Young Adults, Compassion).
- Project Work: Identify an area of improvement within Echo.Church, research potential solutions, and present your findings to staff. Implement and execute the solution with mentorship.
- Wednesday Classes: Attend weekly classes focused on personal growth, work skills, and integrity. These classes will challenge and prepare you for future ministry and work opportunities.
- Team Bonding: Participate in group activities designed to build relationships and encourage team unity.
- Engagement in Meetings: Participate in staff meetings, volunteer coordination, and other ministry-related activities.
- Reflection and Reporting: Keep track of your experiences, note learnings, and reflect on how you're growing throughout the program.
