Job Summary
- Looking for a hard-working individual for a Part time Emergency Medical Scribe position in a busy Emergency Department. Must have some medical experience. Medical terminology and anatomy a must. Excellent typing skills and customer service attitude. Knowledge of EMR a plus. This position is for every Thursday night. Looking for someone that can work independently. Needs to be able to multitask and provide solutions to emergent issues. Must be reliable and dependable. You will work a 12 hour shift side by side with an Emergency Physician. Must be able to work night shift and possible weekends. Hiring immediately! Experienced Scribes preferred but willing to train hardworking dedicated individuals.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Duties
- Accurately transcribe medical documentation into the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Maintain organized medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely processing of patient admissions and discharges.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist in identifying relevant patient information.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office or emergency room setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation purposes.
- Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Familiarity with medical records management practices is highly desirable.
