Arabic Interpreter

**Duties**

• Provide consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation services from Arabic to English and vice versa.
• Ensure accurate and culturally appropriate conveyance of information, meaning, and tone.
• Prepare for interpretation sessions by reviewing relevant materials and documents.
• Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to ensure effective communication.
• Adhere to Echo Languages’ standards and ethical guidelines for interpreters.

**Experience**

- Proven experience as an Interpreter, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.

- Experience with documentation review and translation of medical records and social work reports.

- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and the importance of maintaining confidentiality.

- Bilingual or multilingual, with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages.

- Experience in social work or a related field, with an understanding of the challenges faced by individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as those who are non-native English speakers.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.68 per hour
