Urdu Interpreter

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Urdu/Hindi Interpreter to facilitate effective communication between individuals who speak different languages. The ideal candidate will have strong linguistic abilities and be proficient in interpreting and translating spoken communication in various settings, such as meetings, conferences, and one-on-one interactions. This role requires a deep understanding of cultural nuances and the ability to convey messages accurately while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Interpret spoken Urdu/Hindi language in real-time during meetings, events, and conversations.
• Translate written materials as needed, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Facilitate communication between parties by accurately conveying messages in both languages.
• Maintain professionalism and impartiality while interpreting sensitive information.
• Prepare for assignments by reviewing relevant materials and terminology.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in interpretation and translation.
• Collaborate with other interpreters or team members to ensure effective communication.

Experience

• Proven experience in interpretation or translation is preferred.
• Strong background in linguistics with proficiency in Urdu and Hindi.
• Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interpret complex concepts clearly.
• Familiarity with cultural differences and the ability to navigate them effectively during interpretation sessions.

Pay: $23.69 - $24.83 per hour
