About the Role:
This Hospitalist position requires a high level of autonomy, as our physicians work independently, with occasional support from ER physicians. The hospital has a 134-bed capacity and an open ICU with 12 beds.
Responsibilities:
- Perform procedures such as intubations, lines, and vent management
- Collaborate with the general surgery team for central lines, thoracentesis, and paracentesis
- Ensure seamless patient care, working closely with ER physicians when necessary
Qualifications:
- Active Alabama license and DEA required
- Expedited privileges offered
- EMR: EPIC MedHost
