Echo Residential is a rapidly growing property management company, and we are seeking a motivated and dynamic Leasing
Consultant to join our team and our exciting projects. This position is ideal for someone passionate about helping residents find the
perfect apartment home while delivering excellent customer service. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for
prospective residents, manage leasing activities, and support property operations at our multi-family community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leasing & Tours: Conduct apartment tours, answer questions, and highlight the features and amenities of the community.
- Rental Applications: Guide prospective residents through the rental application process, ensuring all required documents are
completed and submitted accurately.
- Resident Retention: Maintain positive relationships with residents through regular communication and excellent customer service,
encouraging lease renewals.
- Maintenance Oversight: Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure work orders are promptly collected and completed;
follow up on requests to guarantee resident satisfaction.
- Marketing & Outreach: Assist in creating and distributing marketing materials for apartment listings, social media campaigns, and
local community events to drive traffic and increase occupancy.
- Move-ins & Move-outs: Facilitate the move-in and move-out process, ensuring that all paperwork, inspections, and preparations
are completed smoothly.
- Property Tours & Open Houses: Organize and participate in open houses, community events, and other outreach activities to
attract new residents.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed records of leasing activity, including traffic reports, vacancy rates, application
statuses, and lease renewals.
- Compliance & Policy Adherence: Ensure that all leasing activities adhere to fair housing laws, company policies, and legal
requirements.
- Rent Collection: Assist in rent collection, providing residents with reminders or notices if necessary.
- Market Knowledge: Stay informed about local market trends, competitor properties, and pricing strategies to effectively position our
community.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service is preferred.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and leasing compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, including administrative duties and resident relations.
- Experience with property management software is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
