What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Software Engineering Manager position at Echodyne Corp?
As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead product initiatives to ensure Echodyne continues to set the standard for best-in-class radar technology. You will be comfortable driving strategic goals and, when necessary, rolling up your sleeves to address the technical needs of the team. You will guide your development team, overseeing responsibilities such as day-to-day design decisions, product roadmap progression, and long-term architectural and technological choices, all while fostering a healthy work-life balance. Additionally, you will attract, develop, and cultivate a high-performing engineering team and environment to maintain our industry leadership in technology.
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
• BS degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related Engineering field
• 3-5 years of experience in software engineering leadership
• Experience managing leads and individual contributors who deliver customer-facing features through design, architecture, and development
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Comfortable leading cross-functional teams, including research, hardware, software, and data science
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
(Looking for one or more as a complement to the core skills)
• Proven track record of hiring and managing small, high-performance teams
• Expertise in API development, React front-end, large-scale hardware edge sensors, and interconnected software
• Experience building and scaling distributed, highly available system

WHAT WE OFFER
The pay range for this position is $141,000 - $211,500 per year.
