What are the responsibilities and job description for the Waiver Home Coordinator position at Echoing Hills Village?

The Waiver Home Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the home. The Waiver Home Coordinator is responsible for implementing the programs and service/supports, supervising all waiver staff personnel, supervising the lives of the individuals served and maintaining the health, safety and medical well being of the individuals living in the home utilizing a person-centered approach to assist the individuals in fulfilling their desires and needs for an independent life. This position will also assist in the development and maintenance of professional, cordial relationships with other professionals of various backgrounds, paraprofessionals and organizations that are involved in the care and support of the individuals served. The position provides a vital link between the individual, family/guardian, SSA, the vocational habilitation programs, the medical professionals and benefit communities. This position serves as a member of the individual’s IP/ISP interdisciplinary team and will participate in the Safety Committee for that region. This position assists the Program Director with the overall management of the waiver home program including compliance and budget management. This position will supervise all Waiver Home Direct Support Professionals.
