The Day Program-DSP is responsible for providing vocational, habilitation and work / skill training to DD individuals as well as providing active treatment, accurate production and ratio documentation, quality personal care and a healthy and safe environment utilizing a person-centered approach to assist the individuals in fulfilling their desires and needs for an independent life. This position is responsible for compliance with all regulatory audits and safety procedures. This position is a vital link between the individual and other members of the individual’s IPP / ISP team. The position is responsible for enhancing the DD individuals’ self-help, social and adaptive skills.
Requirements
Position requires a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of two years experience within the DD field preferred. The position requires the completion of CPR and First Aid training within 90 of hire. The position requires the completion of 30 hours of seminar training within the first year of hire. Position requires a person to hold a valid Ohio Drivers License. The position requires a demonstrated Christian background and a demonstrated ability to fulfill the mission and purpose of the Ministry. Position requires a basic knowledge of ability and operating Microsoft office products, internet, email and other general office equipment. Delegated Nursing Certification preferred.
