Echolake Day Habilitation Center is looking for MAVO drivers to join the team.
Qualifications
- Clean and valid NJ driver's license
- MAVO certification (renewal training will be provided if needed)
- CPR certification (renewal training will be provided if needed)
- Knowledge and physical ability to push and secure wheelchairs.
- Able to drive safely and alert for 8-10 hours daily
- Ability to speak and write English fluently. Spanish language skills are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Safely transporting passengers with disabilities or mobility issues using specialized vehicles
- Assisting passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles
- Ensuring passengers are securely seated and restrained
- Operating mobility assistance vehicles efficiently and safely
- Assisting inside the Center in various tasks to promote safety
- Maintaining vehicle clean and ready for transport
