EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for an Aircraft Operations Engineer in our Hughes Network Systems divisionThis role will be located at our office in Lisle, IL, or Germantown, MD.
Responsibilities :
- Support and resolve aircraft connectivity issues utilizing a holistic understanding of the system, including hardware, software, and network requirements.
- Serve as an escalation point for tier 1 technical support teams.
- Track hardware failures and work closely with the reliability team to implement long-term solutions.
- Utilize various data sources, such as performance metrics, tickets, and system logs to identify systemic failure trends.
- Define automation requirements to optimize tools and improve operational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Act as a bridge between engineering, development, and program management to foster collaboration and alignment between critical departments.
- Work on-call, which can include nights, weekends, and holidays, to support 24 / 7 team.

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.

Annual Salary : $85,500.00 - $114,000.00
