What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Supervisor position at ECI -Engineers Construction, Inc.?
Engineers Construction, Inc. in Williston is seeking a Mechanic with proven experience repairing and maintaining construction equipment and heavy trucks. Leadership and management experience or the desire to take your career to the next level is a plus. Duties will include all aspects of equipment and truck maintenance and repairs as well as triage, digital record keeping, and supervision. Work will be mixed between shop and the road, with a fully outfitted service truck available.
Technical skills should include a practical knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, diesel technology, drive train systems, suspension systems, and braking systems. A CDL is preferred. Fabrication experience and welding certifications are desirable.
Applicant should have the ability to lead and supervise others. Good problem-solving skills, good communication skills, and attention to detail are essential. The applicant should also be organized, neat, and professional.
Location: Williston, VT
Rate of Pay: $30 - $40 per hour. Overtime paid after 8 hours each day.
