Eck Plastic Arts, a custom manufacturer specializing in processing plastics for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), is seeking a goal-oriented Manufacturing Technition to operate a plastic injection molding machine and help with preventative maintence on the molds.This position offers competitive base compensation and a full benefits package.
Responsibilities:
This job description provides a general overview of the responsibilities and duties of an Injection Molding Manufacturing Technician. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed by management.
- Set up and operate various industrial production machines.
- Operate shop equipment (drill press, band saw, etc.).
- Read and follow specifications in work orders.
- Measure dimensions on parts during production and upon completion before sending them to the next operation.
- Operate machines when production requires an operator; during slower periods, assist with preventive maintenance (PM) on molds.
- Learn the process of disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling molds.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Some mechanical knowledge.
- Willingness to learn and follow process instructions.
