Job Overview
Eckard's is a family-oriented, 3rd generation owned and operated small business with five stores in Northwest Missouri and one in Savannah, Georgia. We are looking to add a Pricing Specialist to our team. This position will be crucial in importing and maintaining accurate product information and pricing in our software system. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update product inventory, pricing, and descriptions in company software.
- Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively, especially when dealing with frequent pricing updates or product changes.
- Convert data from PDF documents to Excel or CSV formats with high accuracy.
- Learn new software systems quickly and efficiently.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and identify discrepancies.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams regarding pricing and product information.
- Assist in maintaining sales floor pricing and product information.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
- 5 years (or more) of office experience with an accounting background.
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel for advanced data manipulation.
- Experience in converting PDF files to Excel or CSV formats.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software applications.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as a team in a small business environment.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with inventory management software.
- Experience with E-Commerce.
- Experience with RFMS.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
