Eckerd College is currently hiring for the position of Gifts and Data Entry Specialist to join our advancement team at our waterfront property along the Boca Ciega Bay in St. Petersburg, Florida, in our relationship-focused community. We are searching for a detail-focused individual who supports the Eckerd College Advancement Office through the management of gifts and data in the Advancement CRM database including entering gifts and pledges, producing gift receipts, assisting with gift acknowledgements, managing matching gifts, reconciling of gifts and pledges, and maintaining constituent records.
The Gifts and Data Entry Specialist will possess the ability to analyze and prepare documents, reports, and correspondence and the ability to learn new software and process data in a timely fashion. The position requires the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
Enter all gifts and pledges to the College in the Raiser’s Edge database and produce gift receipts. Adjust gifts as directed.
Maintain all documentation regarding gifts and pledges and provide documentation to the College Business Office.
Set up and maintain online giving forms.
Maintain biographical records for alumni, students, parents, friends, staff, faculty and organizations.
Process matching gifts and act as a liaison with matching gift organizations.
Reconcile deposits, gifts and pledges with the College Business Office.
Create constituent records for new donors and manage existing constituent records for accuracy, including verifying deceased alumni and donors.
Ensure accuracy of information in the donor database by following data entry standards and running maintenance reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or three years of related experience in data management position; experience with Raiser’s Edge software preferred. The equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Ability to perform work outside normal business hours as needed.
