Eckert Seamans is a full-service national law firm with a strong reputation and history of success that spans more than 65 years. With approximately 300 lawyers across a network of 15 offices, we provide clients with proactive, solution-oriented business and litigation counsel. We are seeking a Director of Integration and Opportunity for our Pittsburgh, PA or Philadelphia, PA office.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute and evaluate integration plans for lateral attorneys, group acquisitions and promotional tracks
- Coordinate regular check-ins and feedback sessions, while establishing benchmarks and milestones for successful integration
- Assist to build internal networks and identify cross-practice introductions and collaboration opportunities
- Manage and implement inclusion growth opportunities aligned with firm values
- Develop and implement inclusion awareness education programming
- Lead the Inclusion Counsel and Inclusion Ambassadors
- Provide counsel and guidance relative to inclusion matters
- Assist in the response to client requests, RFP’s and RFI’s; design and develop business reports
- Collaborate with all administrative and legal areas of the firm to integrate various inclusion programming such as pro bono opportunities and inclusion community efforts and pipeline programs
- Manage the inclusion and integration budgets
- Prepare and manage the annual inclusion report
- Foster an inclusive environment
- Oversee and monitor charitable/philanthropic initiatives and budget in collaboration with the Pro Bono committee, Business Development and the Foundation to align with firm values
- Identify, review, and assess philanthropic partnerships, and nonprofit opportunities to enhance existing efforts and build new ones.
- Collaborate with marketing to integrate PR opportunities into philanthropic initiatives when possible
- Facilitate and track donation and sponsorship requests; provide analysis of value impact
- Provide various aspects of support for charitable events
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum eight years inclusion and/or integration related experience; preferably in a law firm or professional services organization
- Diversity & Inclusion Certification and/or SHRM certification preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer
- Occasional prolonged periods of standing
- Ability to lift and carry at least 15 pounds, stand and ambulate
Travel expectation:
- Less than 30%
