What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mass Tort Litigation Associate position at Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott LLC?
Eckert Seamans, a national, full-service AmLaw 200 firm, seeks a motivated Associate to join the Mass Tort Litigation team. The attorney hired for this position will work directly with partners and other associates on litigation matters in a fast-paced, active environment and directly communicate and interact with clients.
Qualifications:
- At least five years of mass tort experience
- Experience with asbestos will be strongly considered
- Excellent academic credentials and strong drafting skills
- Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Competence and desire to manage a variety of active matters independently
- Court and deposition experience strongly preferred
- New Jersey bar admission is required; preference will be given to those with admissions in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Delaware, New York, or Pennsylvania
