Eckert Seamans, a national, full-service AmLaw 200 firm, seeks a motivated Associate to join the Commercial Litigation team in our Boston, Massachusetts office. This position offers an exceptional experience working with our attorneys and clients on various litigation and business dispute resolution matters.
The ideal candidate will have complex commercial litigation experience representing companies in various federal and state litigation matters and experience in all facets of litigation, including preparing and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, handling complex discovery, court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and preparing cases for trial.
Qualifications :
- Five (5) to eight (8) years of commercial litigation experience
- Massachusetts bar admission required; Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island bar admission a plus
- Excellent academic credentials
- Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability and desire to manage a variety of active matters independently
- Court and deposition experience strongly preferred
- Prior judicial clerkship experience is a plus
