The Job

Eckert & Ziegler Isotope Products seeks a Key Account Medical Sales Representative to join our team. This position is responsible for achieving Medical Imaging product sales in the North American market for selected Key Accounts. Responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the designated Key Account’s purchase orders and deliveries, responding to technical and product inquiries, ensuring purchase orders are processed on time and deliveries are correctly scheduled by the Medical Imaging Customer Service team. Schedule and perform customer visits and attend meetings as required; organize and attend local trade shows and conferences. Contribute to the production of marketing material (e.g. product catalogs, flyers, and surveys, web site content).

Duties :

  • Responsible for managing selected Key Accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and achievement of the sales goals.
  • Schedule and perform sales visits as needed to meet sales goals and to build a strong business relationship with our Key Accounts. Some international travel may be required.
  • Identify new opportunities for additional product and service sales.
  • Review contractual obligations with customers and take appropriate action where required.
  • Analyze market pricing and product specifications and compare them with competitors and alternative suppliers.
  • Process quotations for both standard and custom products; follow-up as necessary to achieve orders.
  • Process and respond to customer inquiries for both standard and custom products.
  • Organize and attend local trade shows as needed. Occasional participation at international events is also required.
  • Contribute to the production of marketing materials, including product catalogs and flyers, customer surveys, digital marketing / web site development.
  • Perform other duties as required by management.
  • Requirements :

  • Minimum education (or substitute experience) required : Bachelor’s degree or
  • equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum experience required : either 3 years’ experience in medical sales or equivalent clinical experience required. Experience in nuclear medicine a plus.
  • Abilities and skills required :
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to plan and manage sales territory. Track record of meeting sales goals and quotas.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Customer interface skills – must have the ability to understand customers’ needs and communicate those within our organization.
  • Coach / train staff members and lead others in order to accomplish goals
  • Work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally, approximately 50% of the time.
  • Monthly sales analysis and report preparation.
  • Utilize market analyses to support strategic sales decisions and identify opportunities for growth and / or market adjustments.
  • Must have reliable transportation to commute to our office.
