Position Overview:
- Work very closely with both development and DevOps engineers to deliver low maintenance and high reliability manual and automation in support of CI/CD and speed to market.
- Will be involved in testing both manual and automation scripts for component level, integrated system, and software functionality.
- Will be supporting the team in removing repetitive manual tasks leveraging process automation solutions.
- Design and develop test cases for new features and capabilities.
- Perform manual testing for all new features that is in scope.
- Build automation that supports validation and preservation of functionality from front end to back-end storage systems.
- Work directly with DevOps to support integration of functional and integration tests into no touch software pipeline jobs.
- Analyze automation results and identify Quality issues and report.
- Support metric gathering and reporting on software quality from development through production.
- Prepare and maintain clear documentation of automation frameworks, design, and standards.
- Help the team to develop and improve tools and processes that empower teams to work faster and easier on their own.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or another related field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in API testing.
- 3-4 years of overall testing experience.
- 2-3 years of experience with at least some of the common automation testing tools such as Selenium, UFT, Postman.
- Experience with integration tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo or alike.
- It will be good to have Knowledge on RESTful API services ,methods and approaches.
- A team player, able to work in an environment of high levels of change and complexity.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Insurance or Financial services experience desirable.
- Experience working within an Agile environment and the common automation and testing approaches supporting iterative delivery.
