Position Overview:
- Must have previous work experience in regulated industries, Financial, Legal or Pharmaceutical.
- Looking for a Graphic Designer with motion graphics and video experience to transform complex insurance, investment, and other financial content into engaging tools and experiences.
- This individual should have two or more years of experience and be comfortable with the creative process, from concepting through execution.
- The Graphic Designer will meet with internal clients, pitch new ideas, and work collaboratively with peers across the company.
- Graphic design projects typically include creating advertising, social media content, landing pages, presentations, print collateral, infographics, storyboards, explainer videos, and motion graphics.
- All work should be created with the goal of achieving business goals and it should adhere to brand standards.
- Creative Concepting: Must be comfortable concepting new creative ideas and sharing them for feedback. Must be a conceptual thinker capable of transforming basic information from a brief into multiple creative concepts consisting of various deliverables such as print ads, social media, direct mail, etc.
- Campaign Development: Partner with senior members of the creative team as well as internal clients to understand project needs and help the team achieve their business goals. Working from a brief or client meetings, the designer must be able to transform complex insurance and financial information into visually engaging content for use across multiple communication outlets.
- Creative Production: Refine, update, or version existing creative to account for user feedback or changing business needs. Be comfortable taking direction and providing feedback to business partners and Marketing peers based on brand guidelines, industry best practices, trends, or channel requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with writers, designers, and compliance to ensure that creative is aligned with Marketing and broader organizational goals. Work with channel owners and other content creators to make sure that messaging and visuals comply and deliver a consistent, user-focused brand experience.
- Measurement and Constant Improvement: Must be open to ongoing feedback from senior members of the creative team as well as channel owners and other business partners to understand how creative performs in market and what could help improve performance.
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
- An online portfolio that demonstrates a breadth of design work.
- Experience working for clients in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, including a solid foundation in After Effects.
- Experienced in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable working with project management teams and software.
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
- Able to build and maintain relationships with team members, internal clients, and external vendors.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to keep skills current and stay abreast of industry trends.
