Position Overview :

A highly skilled IT Professional with a min. of 10 years' experience to design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructure primarily utilizing Palo Alto Networks' SD-WAN solutions alongside Juniper Networks devices, ensuring optimal network performance and security.

Responsibilities :

Network Design and Architecture :

Develop comprehensive network architecture plans leveraging Palo Alto SD-WAN technology, incorporating Juniper routers and switches to meet business needs and connectivity requirements.

Conduct site surveys, capacity planning, and network segmentation to optimize network performance and security.

Design and implement secure network connectivity between data centers, branch offices, and cloud environments using SD-WAN capabilities.

Implementation and Deployment :

Lead the installation, configuration, and deployment of Palo Alto SD-WAN gateways and Juniper networking devices across multiple sites.

Configure network security policies, including firewall rules, VPNs, and access controls on Palo Alto devices to protect sensitive data.

Perform network troubleshooting, performance tuning, and capacity management on Juniper routers and switches.

Operations and Maintenance :

Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address network issues using network monitoring tools.

Manage network changes, updates, and upgrades to Palo Alto SD-WAN and Juniper devices while minimizing disruption.

Qualifications :

Deep understanding of SD-WAN technologies, particularly Palo Alto Networks SD-WAN solutions.

Extensive experience configuring and managing Juniper routers and switches.

Proficiency in network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.

Knowledge of network routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and network segmentation techniques.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot network issues.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Certifications (Preferred) : Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Engineer (PCNSE), Juniper Networks Certified Specialist (JNCIS) or Juniper Networks Certified Expert (JNCIE), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Equivalent Network Certification [1, 2, 3].
