Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, including industrial cleaning and facilities maintenance.
Duties
- Perform general custodial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to ensure cleanliness.
- Conduct industrial cleaning of equipment and surfaces as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Execute floor care tasks including buffing, stripping, and waxing as required.
- Assist with residential painting projects when necessary.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Support commercial cleaning efforts for various facilities, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
- Act as a porter by managing waste disposal and recycling efforts throughout the facility.
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment or materials as needed.
