Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Carry out floor care duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring they are well-stocked and maintained.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing all areas according to health and safety regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management team promptly.
- Assist in laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests or concerns in a friendly manner.
Skills
- Proven experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation.
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality environments is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
