General Cleaner

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, including residential and commercial spaces. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to ensure floors are well-maintained.
• Execute residential painting tasks when required, ensuring high-quality finishes.
• Carry out commercial cleaning duties in offices, retail spaces, and other facilities.
• Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms and common areas, ensuring supplies are stocked.
• Provide custodial services that meet company standards for cleanliness and safety.
• Act as a porter by transporting materials and supplies as needed throughout the facility.
• Engage in industrial cleaning processes to maintain safety and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of residential painting methods is beneficial.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean and safe environment.
