Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Agile Strategist to join our software development team. As an Agile Strategist you will play a crucial role in the management and optimization of the Agile portfolio to implement strategic plans working with leadership. This strategist will seek to optimize through budget efficiency, roadmap prioritization and resource analysis, ensuring the successful implementation of Agile transformation methodologies across the organization. Responsibilities:
- Work to optimize current portfolio through value metrics, reducing inefficiencies
- Support roadmap prioritization
- Provide analysis of current resourcing, skillsets and reskilling requirements
- Facilitate learning and development among employees through individual and team coaching.
- Facilitate the transition of Agile practices across the organization including coaching leadership teams promoting collaboration and addressing potential barriers to adoption
- Communicate agile principles, scrum practices, and overall operating model across the organization.
- Collaborate with coaching team to build out collateral to support coaching, including frameworks, matrices, etc.
- Establish KPIs to track and measure progress and effectiveness to identify areas of improvement.
- Proactively manage change throughout the transformation process demonstrating the effectiveness of Agile practices to stakeholders .
- Undertake daily follow-ups with individual team members to ensure projects are on track and goals are being met.
- Maintain objectivity regarding issues and troubleshoot them by applying Agile principles.
- Hold stand-up meetings with cross-functional teams to review project status.
- Support teams in determining resource allocations to maintain Agile practices and ensure smooth project delivery.
Eligibility Requirements
- Experience: 5 yrs. of experience in agile coach role, overall 8 yrs. of project management experience.
- Experience in using scrum, kanban, and scaled agile framework (SAFe).
- Analytical skills to address business needs and design appropriate Agile strategies.
- Track record of implementing agile techniques in different work cultures and environments
- Agile Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (e.g., definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).
- Leadership Skills: Strong communication, servant leadership, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Organizational Skills: Outstanding organizational skills to manage project timelines effectively.
- Ability to facilitate training workshops regarding Agile methodologies.
- Strong project management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline).
- Agile certification, Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is preferred.
In the US, the target base salary for this role is $165-180K. Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. We expect the majority of candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall throughout the range based on these factors.
