Position Overview :
The eClinicalWorks Director of Compliance has responsibility for managing day-to-day operations of eClinicalWorks' Compliance Program. The Director of Compliance's general duties and responsibilities encompass implementing and maintaining eClinicalWorks systems, processes and policies designed to ensure compliance with Federal healthcare program requirements, all applicable laws and regulations and all internal policies, procedures and practices.
Job Functions / Responsibilities :
General
- Implements, and communicates within their team / department / division, the strategic direction established by the executive leadership (c-suite).
- Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations, projects and systems.
- Collaborates with other divisions and departments to carry out the organization's goals and objectives.
- Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources.
- Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support of our customers and execution of such policies, practices, standards, and security measures.
- Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the executive leadership.
- Maintains knowledge of applicable emerging technologies and trends in the industry and ensure that their department / teams are aligned with the changed landscape.
- Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided within their operational teams as needed.
- Manage relationships with key clients, business associates, vendors and any third-party subsidiaries that work with our organization, wherever applicable.
- Recruits, interviews, hires, trains and promotes staff in the operational teams.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the division / department / Team wherever applicable. Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Provide direction, manage, coach / mentor all employees including but not limited to the leadership within their operational teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
