What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sanitation Manager position at Eclipse Advantage?
Eclipse is seeking a Site Sanitation Manager who will supervise, direct and evaluate sanitation/custodial personnel for our Sanitation division at our client distribution center. An ideal candidate will be used to working in a warehouse or production environment. The qualified candidate must be able to interact with a wide range of people and must be organized. Responsibilities will include timekeeping, production scheduling and training of new employees.
The Schedule for this role is Monday Friday 9am-5pm. But we run a crew 24/7 here and you will need to be flexible based on the business needs
Responsibilities and essential job functions:
- The Site Supervisor will oversee all Sanitation and Custodial operations within the Site
- . Must have prior management experience in a cleaning and sanitation background.
- Manage the workforce: including staffing, payroll, employee relations and office administrative duties.
- On-floor coaching of associates, and inspection for quality and safety.
- Pro-active communication to resolve client issues and create increased client loyalty.
- Thrive under deadlines and work in a team environment, while also delivering independent results.
Job Requirements
- 2-3 years of prior Sanitation and Cleaning management or Light Industrial Management experience in light industrial environment
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook); other internal company systems to be trained.
- Must be comfortable working on refrigerated warehouse environment
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Bilingual language skill in Spanish is required
