The Position:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Coordinator will work with Project Management, Engineering, and Shipping and Receiving to manage the flow of inventory and will be accountable to inventory accuracy and quality to support Manufacturing. This position requires the ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced environment, while managing competing priorities with high attention to detail. The incumbent will have the opportunity to implement new ideas to improve existing process. This role requires a level of creativity, flexibility, decision making skills, and resourcefulness while delivering the Eclipse Vision and the Eclipse Entrepreneurial Culture.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Research, source, select, and purchase quality products and material as required by engineering
Process and manage positive/negative requisitions and follow through to closure
Generate purchase orders and ensure that all are properly approved and consistent with company policies
Manage all facets of order expediting and escalation for on time delivery
Responsible for master data, supplier information and system accuracy
Assist with material returns and RMA’s
Custodian of Supply Chain tools techniques and technology to support growth
Key influencer for implementing change and technology as it relates to supply chain
Manage development and communication of weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics and business reviews
Development of the Supplier base and related tools that meet project timing, inventory, and customer delivery
Build relationships with suppliers, develop partnerships, and negotiate for best cost solutions
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external groups
Expectation of travel to Eclipse locations is less than 15% of time, however, may be exceeded in exceptional circumstances to meet organizational needs
What We’re Looking For:
University Degree or College Diploma in Materials Management, Business Management, or a Purchasing / Administration in Business related program, or equivalent work experience
2 years of Procurement or Supply Chain experience within a manufacturing setting will be considered an asset
Excellent communication and analytical skills – ability to assess qualitative and quantitative information to formulate an analysis complete with recommendations that will positively impact cost, process, and/or delivery
ERP and Inventory Management Systems experience preferred
Work requires professional written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and self-managed
High attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks to align with business goals and objectives
A basic understanding of database operations/search engines, and ability to ready blueprints is an asset
